American Association of State Climatologists
The American Association of State Climatologists is committed to advancing the development and delivery of science-based climate services on a local and state level. Founded in 1976. Location: Asheville, North Carolina.
Carbonfund.org
The Carbon Fund is leading the fight against climate change, making it easy and affordable for any individual, business or organization to reduce and offset their climate impact, and hasten the transition to a clean energy future. Location: East Aurora, New York.
Center for Climate and Energy Solutions
The mission of the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions is to advance strong policy and action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promote clean energy, and strengthen resilience to climate impacts. A key objective is a national market-based program to reduce emissions cost-effectively. A sound climate strategy is essential to ensure a strong, sustainable economy.

Center for Climate and Life

Chesapeake Climate Action Network

The Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN) is the first grassroots, nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to fighting global warming in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, and nationwide. Its mission is to build a diverse movement powerful enough to put the region on the path to climate stability, while using proximity to the nation’s capital to inspire action in neighboring states, regions nationwide, and countries around the world. Citizens for Pennsylvania’s Future
PennFuture is leading the transition to a clean energy economy in Pennsylvania and beyond. Citizens for Pennsylvania’s Future is protecting the state’s air, water, and land, and empowering citizens to build sustainable communities for future generations. Founded in 1998. Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Citizens’ Climate Lobby
Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy climate change organization focused on national policies to address climate change. Founded in 2007. Location: Coronado, California.
Climate Central
Climate Central is an independent organization of leading scientists and journalists researching and reporting the facts about our changing climate and its impact on the public. Founded in 2008. Location: Princeton, New Jersey.
Climate Emergency Fund
The Climate Emergency Fund (CEF) is mainstreaming the climate crisis; defining the climate agenda as a nonpartisan issue; supporting new, diverse groups and activists; and bringing together coalitions to increase the spread of climate messaging. Location: Beverly Hills, California.
