About ClimateYou Courses
The ClimateYou Alliance is grateful to Consolidated Edison who funded the ClimateYou Courses with a special pilot program grant that brought together City Tech’s Division of Continuing Education (CE) and the institution’s undergraduate energy-related programs. These courses enhanced the training of the next generation of clean energy and green career professionals.
Together with City Tech’s Division of Continuing Education, the goal of ClimateYou Alliance was to embed climate change knowledge into the curricula of CE certificate programs, with a focus on courses related to energy, building trades, and construction, including HVAC, Building Maintenance, Construction Project Management, and Solar PV installation. The success of this pilot program can lead to expanding other Workforce Trainings and additional City Tech departments, such as Architecture and Construction Management and Civil Engineering.
