My Take on Climate Change By City Tech Blogger David Arriaga

There are many changes that are going on with the climate in this day and age. One of the main factors that I have seen, not only in this country, but around the world is global warming. I see this as the worst effect that is going on today. One concern that I have as the world starts to warm up is that it will cause winters to become shorter and winter is my favorite season. With shorter winters happening there will be less snow that will fall. Snow was a big part of my childhood, and I have a lot of happy memories when it was snowing. Knowing that children would not experience what I experienced as a child because snow can potentially stop falling is saddening. Another concern I have is the rise of the sea level, as the ice starts to melt in the Arctic. With the rise of sea levels, many islands including the many we have in New York will become flooded. As a New Yorker, it is very concerning as the main island, Manhattan, will probably be inhabitable. Manhattan is what New York is known for, and my friends and I, go to downtown Manhattan to have fun, and enjoy some good times, as the ambience is very welcoming, and warm to all. Something needs to be done to stop all this global warming as it is very dangerous to us.
