My Take on Climate Change

What I am going to tell you is what I think about the changing climate and the considerable impact it has had on our planet and what each nation, such as the United States, can do to respond to the matter. The aspects of climate change have resulted in unprecedented natural disasters such as intense droughts, melting glaciers and rising sea levels. We’ve seen floods tsunamis, heat waves causing wildfires, and other shattering impacts across the globe (climate.nasa.gov). I believe that these effects, among other subtle consequences of climate change, negatively impact the Earth. Action needs to be taken to avert such consequences.

What I am telling you is that climate change is deleterious to the planet. It is the responsibility of each individual country to understand such effects and put in place measures that can be used to avert the negative repercussions associated with climate change. Sustainable actions include reforestation, recycling, reduction of the carbon footprint, as well as the protecting ecosystems to address the  destructive nature of climate change. If each nation takes such an initiative, I believe that the negative impacts of climate change would be reduced significantly.

I believe it is the collective responsibility of all countries to pledge to take action that will slow and ultimately stop the impacts of climate change ensuring  humans and other life forms on earth can co-exist amicably without the random occurrence of natural disasters associated with climate change.
