Poor Countries and Climate Change by Hussein Alnomani

It seems poor countries are most effected by climate change. And people living in poor countries  are the least educated and least able to adapt to climate change. We see when a disaster happens in a poor country the damage is much more severe than when it happens in a developed country. The warning systems and educating people to what those warning systems are would make a huge difference in dealing with disasters such as intense hurricanes, flooding or extreme drought. Climate change must be a global concern. Spreading the awareness of climate change is up to all of us, but the United Nations should play a bigger role in helping poor countries prepare and respond better to climate disasters due to global warming and climate change. We say one hand can’t clap, so I don’t think it is that useful to focus all our abilities to educate only specific countries and regions; we are fighting this with everyone who lives on this earth.
