A Stronger EPA? Opinion by City-Tech blogger Jason Benjamin

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) plays an important role in trying to sensitize and protect humanity from the dangers of certain human habits that are detrimental and contribute to global warming. Although the EPA obtains data on water quality and contaminated soils, I am of the opinion that this important body can play a much greater role in society by actively developing strategic plans to ensure ALL humans are involved in protecting the Earth. Though this may be somewhat idealistic, I believe it is entirely possible. Human history has shown to be destructive and in the case of climate change, our destruction will be due to lack of knowledge
