LOCAL EVENT! Sustainable & Renewable Energy Conference

If you live in Westchester or the greater New York metropolitan area, and you want to know what you can do for the environment, you definitely want to attend a highly informative conference held on Tuesday September 27, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 in Pleasantville at the Jacob Burns Film Center. The Sustainable & Renewable Energy Conference is being offered by the Grassroots Environmental Education (GEE), a non-profit organization that promotes forward thinking and practices for sustainable and environmental health through science and advocacy

Free and open to the general GEE has also invited municipal officials, building management companies, landlords, energy consultants, and facilities managers for schools, hospitals, and houses of worship. The conference takes an in-depth look at renewable, sustainable, and efficient energy systems and the government funding programs that can help usher in sustainable renewables (geothermal, heat pumps) and lessen our use of traditional heating oil which increases greenhouse gases in the environment.
