A conditional go-ahead
This New York Times editorial from 10/13 on the Gulf oil spill thinks the resumption of drilling is a good thing, likes the new procedures and safeguards, chides the industry for complaining about lack of “clarity”, and urges Congress to fund more inspectors and engineers at the Interior Department.
