U.S. plans inquiry on China’s subsidies of clean energy

Trade tensions with China are already high due to the U.S. view that China’s currency is undervalued. Now the U.S. will investigate within 90 days whether China is subsidizing its clean energy industries. The United Steelworkers brought the complaint. China has yet to comment on the announcement.
