Tom Friedman of the New York Times lists four Chinese moon shots — multibillion-dollar, 25-year, game-changing projects: a network of modern airports, a web of high-speed inter-city trains, its own stem cell/genetic engineering industry, and creation of an electric car industry. Ours? Fixing Afghanistan.
