Burning trash: Solution or problem
As a follow-up to its recent article on burning waste to generate electricity in Europe and the U.S., the New York Times published 5 letters to the editor, representing a range of views. Two bemoan how hard it is to innovate in the U.S., one notes policy differences, one favors and one opposes incinerators.
