Iceland leads environmental index as U.S. falls

Every two years Yale and Columbia rank countries by environmental performance. This year Iceland was 1st. The US ranked 61st, and China ranked 121st. Two years ago, the US was 39th, and China 105th. The index scores nations on habitat preservation, reduced GHGs, air pollution and waste, et al.
