Greenhouse gases imperil health, E.P.A announces
The Environmental Protection Agency took a significant step yesterday when it issued a final ruling that carbon dioxide and 5 other greenhouse gases endangered people’s health. By signaling that the US is serious about curbing emissions, the ruling strengthens President Obama’s hand in Copenhagen.
