Atlantic hurricane season ends quietly

No hurricanes struck America this year, and coastal residents of the Gulf and Atlantic states can count themselves lucky. While predicting hurricanes is still more art than science, the global phenomenon known as El Nino should probably get some of the credit. But watch out for next year.
